We are not yet offering livestock for sale or accepting payments. Joining the waitlist does not reserve an animal.

Version 1 · in force from 19 September 2026

This is a first draft. It has been written by us and published so that it can be read and corrected, but it has not yet been reviewed by a Ghanaian lawyer. We will remove this notice once it has, and the version number will tell you which text you read.

The short version

This site uses as little as it can. We set no advertising cookies, and we do not let anybody else track you across other websites from here.

What is actually stored

Things the site needs to work

  • A session cookie, set only when you sign in to an account. It is what keeps you signed in, and it is removed when you sign out.
  • A security token, which travels with anything you submit so that another website cannot submit on your behalf.

These are necessary for the site to function. If you block them, signing in will not work.

Things stored in your browser rather than in a cookie

  • Campaign tags from the link you arrived on, kept until you close the tab, so that if you join the waitlist we know where you came from. The tags are removed from the address bar so the page stays shareable.
  • Work recorded on a farm device while it has no signal, kept on that device until it reaches our servers. This applies to our staff, not to visitors.

Statistics

We count page views using a service that does not use cookies for tracking, does not follow you to other sites, and does not build a profile of you. We see how many people read a page, not who they are.

Controlling what is stored

Every browser lets you see what a site has stored and remove it, usually under privacy or site settings. Removing what this site has stored will sign you out and will lose any campaign tag, and nothing else.

Changes

If we ever add anything that tracks you, we will ask for your consent before we set it, and this page will say what it is and why.
