This is a first draft. It has been written by us and published so that it can be read and corrected, but it has not yet been reviewed by a Ghanaian lawyer. We will remove this notice once it has, and the version number will tell you which text you read.
Who these terms are between
These terms are between you and the operator of this website, whose registered name, company number and address appear in the footer of every page. Where these terms say "we" or "us", that is who is meant.
By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What this website currently does
At present this website describes what we intend to offer, and lets you join a waitlist so that we can contact you when accounts open.
We are not currently offering livestock for sale, taking payment, or holding any animal for anybody. Joining the waitlist does not reserve an animal, does not create a contract to buy or sell, and costs nothing. When that changes, the terms covering a purchase will be separate documents that you will be asked to read and accept at the time.
Joining the waitlist
When you join the waitlist you tell us your name, a telephone number, an email address, which animals interest you and roughly what you would expect to spend. You agree that the details you give us are your own and are accurate.
We send a link to your email address to check that it reaches you. Until you open that link we treat the address as unconfirmed.
You can ask us to remove you from the waitlist at any time, using the contact details in the footer. We will do so, and we will tell you when it is done.
What we do not promise
Livestock farming carries real risks. Animals fall ill and die, and market prices move. Nothing on this site is a promise that any animal will survive, grow to a particular weight, or sell for any particular price, and no figure shown anywhere on this site is guaranteed.
We give no undertaking that the site will always be available, or that every page is free of error. Where we publish figures about our farms, we publish how and when they were measured so that you can judge them yourself.
Keeping your account safe
We will never ask you to send mobile money to a personal number, and we will never ask you for your PIN or your password. If somebody contacts you claiming to be us and asks for either, it is not us: please tell us using the contact details in the footer.
Using the site properly
Please do not attempt to interfere with the site, to gain access to parts of it that are not meant for you, to submit other people's personal details, or to submit information you know to be false. We may refuse service to anyone who does.
Our content
The text, photographs and design on this site belong to us or to the people we licensed them from. You may read, print and share pages for your own use. Please do not republish them commercially without asking us first.
If something goes wrong
If you are unhappy with anything we have done, our complaints procedure explains how to tell us and what happens next. We would always rather hear from you directly first.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Every version is dated and numbered, and earlier versions stay readable on this site so that you can see what you agreed to and when. If a change is significant, we will tell the people who accepted an earlier version and ask them to read the new one.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
